The Scholar In Me (JTE-25)

One accepted and classroom-tested way to differentiate curriculum is through the use of depth and complexity, and more specifically, the depth and complexity icons. The icons must be introduced and taught to your Primary students before they can be effectively used. The Scholar in Me is a charming, rhyming “big book” (pages are 11 x 17) that introduces Primary students to the depth and complexity icons and encourages students to view themselves as scholars. This is a perfect book to read with your class, introducing them to the terminology and strategies that will be used as you extend standards and elaborate on curriculum during the school year. For grade K-3.
