The Q3 Cards provide a valuable tool for developing quality questions to differentiate curriculum through the use of the dimensions of depth and complexity. There are 110 color, 3” x 5” cards, with 10 questions for each of the 11 dimensions of depth and complexity. The front side of the cards are printed in English and the back side of the cards are printed in Spanish. A brochure is provided with a half-dozen ways for the teacher to use these questions-stem cards including: using cards when planning a discussion within a lesson, using cards for hooking students’ interest, and using cards for a culminating activity, to name a few. Suggestions for student and parent uses are offered as well. The Q3 Cards and their limitless possibilities equip teachers with tools that elicit critical and higher-level thinking from their students.
