Depth and Complexity Desk Plates are a great resource for your scholarly students. There are three different versions to choose from: K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-6th grade. Each desk plate facilitates high-level thinking and includes appropriate and challenging thinking tools, such as Depth and Complexity Icons, Content Imperatives, “Expert” perspectives, and scholarly behaviors. The plates for 2nd-3rd grades and 4th-6th grades add Universal Concepts and Math Icons. Various grade-level resources are also included: alphabet, number line, 100’s chart, multiplication chart, place value, equivalent fractions, and shapes.
